Reason.ovh is designed as a privacy-first educational tool. No personal information about users is collected, stored, transmitted, or shared.

All of your game progress, stats, and preferences are stored locally on your device using browser localStorage. This means:

• Your data never leaves your browser or device
• We have no access to your game progress or statistics
• No data is transmitted to our servers or any third parties
• You have complete control over your data

What is Stored Locally?

Your browser stores the following information on your device:

• Game progress and answers for Dojo and Daily Gavel
• Statistics (accuracy rate, total questions answered, streak counts)
• Daily challenge completion status
• Your performance breakdown by fallacy category

Managing Your Data

Since all data is stored locally, you can:

• Clear your data: Use your browser's "Clear browsing data" feature and select localStorage
• Export your data: Unfortunately, we don't currently offer an export feature, but your data is accessible via browser developer tools if needed
• Delete your data: Clearing your browser's localStorage for Reason.ovh will permanently delete all game progress

4. Third-Party Services

We use minimal third-party services for basic site functionality:

Content Delivery Networks (CDNs)

We load the following libraries from CDNs for styling and icons:

• Bulma CSS (jsdelivr.net) - CSS framework
• Font Awesome (cdnjs.cloudflare.com) - Icon library
• Animate.css (cdnjs.cloudflare.com) - Animation library

These CDNs may log basic connection information (like IP addresses) according to their own privacy policies, which are outside our control. We recommend reviewing their respective privacy policies if this is a concern.

Social Sharing

Our "Share" buttons open social media platforms in new windows. When you click these buttons, you're subject to the privacy policies of those platforms (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Reddit). We don't track or receive any information about your sharing activity.

5. Children's Privacy

Reason.ovh is appropriate for users of all ages. Since we don't collect any personal information from anyone, we are compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Parents can feel confident that no data about their children is being collected or shared.
